Benita is a Singapore-based florist with a special interest in creating wedding-related flowers.

Mostly self-taught, she is drawn to and aspires towards arrangements which are lush, romantic, elegant and occasionally wild and unrestrained.

She loves interpreting the design briefs of her clients through the lens of her own creativity, constantly striving to bring different textures to bouquets and arrangements. She believes that thoughtful colour combination is key to a beautiful composition.

Before switching careers to work with flowers full-time, Benita worked as a journalist with a local newspaper.

These days, you can find her pottering around the local flower nurseries; hunting down the perfect ingredients to make her clients smile.

Benita seeks clients who appreciate her style and aesthetic when it comes to flowers, and who don't mind leaving some room for creativity within boundaries. Micro-managing brides make her nervous.

For her, this little flower business is more than just a means to make a living. It’s the present station in life she feels called to; fulfilling the desire to order this aspect of God’s creation in such a way that it promotes human enjoyment and flourishing.

When she’s not busy crafting bouquets or on-site setting up flower installations, you’ll find her chilling out with husband at their Boon Keng home, which also doubles up as her studio.
