TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Consultations
Consultations about personal flowers take place mainly over email and occasionally over whatsapp. A face-to-face consultation can be scheduled if you order venue florals, such as aisle flowers or a floral arch. In such cases a recce of the venue will be scheduled before the wedding date.
Once we have corresponded over email about your event florals and you have decided to proceed with the quotation, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total of the order is required in order to secure your booking. We will send you an invoice with payment instructions.
Bookings
Design changes
Changes to the quantities, design direction and colour palette of the floral items must be made latest two weeks before the event date. Last minute changes may incur a charge of 10% of the final spending amount.
Cancellations/ postponement
Should you need to change or postpone the date of the event, please inform us as soon as possible. Should the “new” date be available, no further charge will be incurred for this change. Should the date not be available, you will forfeit your deposit.
In the extreme and unlikely circumstance that we need to cancel your booking, or are unable to fulfil your order due to illness, injury, accident or any other circumstance, we will do our best to look for another florist for your event.
If we are unable to find another suitable supplier, we will inform you as soon as we can, and refund to you any amounts you have paid to us.
Should your floral items be lost or damaged after collection, we can not accept liability for this. Do note that we are dealing with fresh cut flowers, which does not survive well with rough handling. Keep the stems of your bouquets in water whenever the bunch is not being used.

We recognise the privilege to be part of your special event. We strive to make every customer, especially our brides, happy. By purchasing our florals, you agree and acknowledge that “Florals by Benita” is not responsible or accountable for any personal injury or negligence resulting from use of goods supplied to you, or on behalf of you.
